Yes! ShopGenie offers a 30-day free trial with 100 conversations per month. No credit card required to start. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime from within the app.
A conversation is counted when a customer initiates a new search session. Follow-up messages within the same session are not counted separately. You can track your usage directly from the ShopGenie dashboard.
No. ShopGenie loads asynchronously and does not affect your store's page speed or performance. The chat widget is lightweight and only activates when a customer interacts with it.
Paid plans include a 5% grace buffer so conversations don't stop abruptly. Once you reach the limit, you can upgrade your plan. Your store continues to work normally — only the AI chat widget pauses until the next billing cycle or upgrade.
Yes. The "Powered by ShopGenie" branding is removed on all paid plans (Basic, Pro, and Advanced).
You can cancel anytime by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. There are no cancellation fees or long-term contracts. Your data will be securely deleted within 48 hours of uninstallation.
